Petunia (aka: The Battle Axe -
relentless in her pursuit of
whatever she wanted at the
moment. You never wanted to
ignore Petunia when handing
out treats... suffice it to say that
a lot of bites to the legs of
workers & guests are
contributed to ignoring Petunia)
Merry was a long term resident
of Planet Pig, who quickly stood
out as a force to be reckoned
with. Known to help herself to
food and other objects of her
desire in the kitchen cabinets,
on the counter and in the fridge,
it's safe to say that Merry had
her own agenda in life.  She
was truly loved and is sadly
missed.
Welcome to Planet Pig!
Wilbur was a sweet old soul
when he came to Planet Pig.  He
wasn't with us long, but he was
happy and loved while he was
here.  There was nothing better
for Wilbur than a nap on a
blanket in the yard.
Spottie was one of the
sweetest pigs to ever come to
Planet Pig.  She was a
well-mannered lady in the
midst of some heathen pigs.  At
least she thought so.  She was
a sweet soul who is terribly
missed.

All pigs who come to Planet Pig have become like
our children, etching a place in our hearts
forever with their unforgettable personalities.
When one of them passes away, they take a piece
of our soul.  We will never forget them and
cherish the time, however brief, that they shared
their lives with us.  We know they will all be
waiting at the Rainbow Bridge.

RAINBOW BRIDGE

Just this side of heaven is a place called
Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially
close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow
Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special
friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and
our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are
restored to health and vigor; those who were
hurt or maimed are made whole and strong
again, just as we remember them in our dreams
of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for
one small thing; they each miss someone very
special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes
when one suddenly stops and looks into the
distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager
body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from
the group, flying over the green grass, his legs
carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your
special friend finally meet, you cling together in
joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The
happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands
again caress the beloved head, and you look
once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so
long gone from your life but never absent from
your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
